Close to midnight Sunday, President Barack Obama sent a tweet of an announcement. By the time he made his speech, the Twitterverse had already started trending, "Osama Bin Laden is Dead!
If you lived through September 11th, this news means a lot to you. Whether you were in the twin towers of the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, in your office, or at home sick, you will never forget where you were on that date in history.
Now, we celebrate the death of organized oppression, not Osama Bin Laden. Poor, uneducated men (and women) around the world must know: There are no 72 virgins waiting for you on the other side. Indeed, your family will continue to starve and moan. Nothing positive ever comes from terrorism of any kind.
So, if you are in bondage, e.g., a cult, domestic violence, today is your day to O-Bomba-Nate those shackles.
Darkness fails. Light prevails.
